About the Coalition
The Arizona Fatherhood Coalition is a developing statewide network of father-serving organizations coordinating resources, listening to fathers, and building more responsive systems of support. Content on this page is a working draft pending coalition approval.
Overview
Father-serving organizations across Arizona are coming together to coordinate resources, listen directly to fathers, strengthen referral pathways, and build more responsive systems of support. Each coalition member brings its own expertise while contributing to a shared statewide vision.
The coalition is not a government agency and does not replace the services its members provide. It is a collaborative structure that helps fathers navigate support more easily and helps organizations work together more effectively.
Note: No “Established” date is displayed because the coalition has not yet formally approved one.
Our Mission
The Fatherhood Coalition mobilizes partners to remove systemic barriers, deliver evidence-based services, and promote public policies that strengthen fathers and families.
Our Vision
Every child benefits from a loving, engaged, and economically secure father.
Our Values
Father-Centered
Fathers are partners in this work, not problems to be solved. Their voices shape coalition priorities.
Community-Based
Support works best when it comes from and with communities — welcoming, culturally inclusive, and rooted in trust.
Collaborative
Member organizations keep their own identities and expertise while contributing to a shared statewide vision.
Responsible
We collect minimum necessary information, publish only aggregated and de-identified insights, and mark unverified content clearly.
Why the Coalition Is Needed
Fathers across Arizona often have to search across disconnected programs, agencies, and communities to find help. The coalition exists to reduce that burden: coordinating resources, strengthening referral pathways between organizations, listening directly to fathers about what is missing, and building more responsive systems of support statewide.
Statewide Approach
The coalition works through member organizations rooted in their own communities — from Phoenix and Tucson to rural and tribal communities — while coordinating around shared fatherhood priorities: a shared resource directory, a shared community calendar, common community-voice practices, and collaborative quarterly programming.
Founding Organizations
The Arizona Fatherhood Coalition's four founding organizations bring distinct expertise and a shared commitment to strengthening fathers, families, and communities across Arizona. Each organization retains its own identity while contributing equally to the coalition's statewide vision.

Governance
The coalition’s governance structure is under development by its member organizations. Until the coalition formally approves a governance and fiscal structure, this website does not accept donations, membership fees, or any financial transactions. Decisions about structure, membership approval, and finances will be made collectively and documented publicly once approved.
Member organizations retain their individual identities, staff, funding, and areas of expertise while collaborating around shared fatherhood priorities.
Father Advisory Participation
Fathers are not just served by this coalition — they help guide it. The coalition is developing a father advisory process, informed by Dad Cafés and community conversations, so that fathers have a direct, ongoing role in shaping priorities, programming, and how the coalition measures its work.
